- 3D scan of Sienna at 20 weeks
At 20 weeks Matt and I had a 3D ultrasound done of our baby. It was so exciting. We had no idea that she was a girl at the time but from the close up images of her face we could tell that she was going to look just like her daddy. We were able to take home pictures as well as a DVD of her moving around in my tummy. It was fantastic to share these with family and friends.
Being pregnant was a really surreal experience. Although I could see my belly growing and feel her moving, it really didn’t feel real! Once I had the scan done and could see her tiny, beautiful face, it really hit home to me that I was actually having a baby! The scan also put my mind at ease that she had everything in the right place and in someways it was a gentle introduction to our new little person. I truly fell in love with her that day….
The picture of the scan is still on my desk at work next to the picture of her now at almost 9 months. The similarity in the scan and her now are amazing and she looks just like Matt!
