weight gain!

Yay! Sienna has put on weight this week! Last week she had lost 80 grams but with the assistance of tablets from the doctor to increase my milk flow she has put on 150 grams. She is back into a healthy weight and should continue to thrive. Hopefully my milk supply will also continue to increase.

I was also suffering from mastitis, this has cleared up with the help of the antibiotic Keflex. My advice to anyone suffering from mastitis is to see your doctor straight away.  The pain, fevers and other symptoms will only get worse if left untreated and may result in you giving up on breast feeding . The antibiotic Keflex does not harm your baby and the results for me were almost immediate.
