Braxton Hicks?

Last night while laying down I felt the first of my contractions. It was extremely painful lower abdomen pain that stretched around to my back, bottom and down my legs.

They were coming every ten minutes for about an hour and a half but the time each lasted gradually reduced from about 90 seconds down to about 30 seconds. I assume this is what they call Braxton Hicks…? It was very exciting and a little nerve racking but most of all disappointing that it didn’t eventuate into labour.

I guess it can’t be long now…I am really wanting the meet the baby!
